I know Victoria’s Secret kind of has a hold on the lingerie market… but have you heard of Soma Intimates? If not, let me tell you: Soma is THE BEST! Before I discovered Soma, I was paying almost $80 for a bra. And let me tell you: Soma has the same quality at half the price. So, if you’ve aged out of the Victoria’s Secret demographic — or you’re just looking for something a little different — you should definitely give Soma a try! Here are three of the best things to buy from Soma Intimates.
1. Bras. Soma starts at a 32 band size and goes up to an I cup, so there’s something for almost everyone. You can get t-shirt bras, bralettes and plunge bras. My favorite is the Embraceable bra. It’s so soft and comfy, and it doesn’t show at all under any of my outfits.
2. Sleepwear. You guys know that I am obsessed with anything cozy and soft, and Soma offers great pajamas for all seasons. Right now, I love the “Cool Nights” line since we’re heading into summer. Soma’s “Cool Nights” items are made with a special rayon fabric that doesn’t stick to your skin if you sleep hot at night like I do. I love that you can mix-and-match long pants, shorts, pajama tops, night shirts, chemises in the same cute patterns! You can also get fluffy slippers and luxurious robes from Soma, too!
3. Apparel. Soma’s definitely known more so for intimates, bras, panties and sleepwear, but like I said — I love all things comfy and intimates companies are absolutely known for making comfy everyday clothes! I love this maxi dress (with a built-in bra!), this tunic and this jumpsuit.
Shopping at Soma is honestly a really great experience. Buying bras can be intimidating (seriously, sometimes I think you need an engineering degree to calculate bra size) but the sales associates have always been so nice and welcoming every time I’ve shopped in store. Their website also has a really cool tool to help you find your size and fit.
A quick tip: Soma frequently holds really good sales and offers some good discounts… AND those can usually be combined with coupon codes. Sign up for Soma’s emails and before you order anything online, do a quick Google search for a discount code you can plug in at the end of your order. Soma also offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more, and offers free returns… which are always amazing because bra fitting can sometimes be a nightmare.
They also have an incredible rewards program!
