OK ladies, is your wrapping paper ready? …Jokes aside, the holidays are coming. Storefronts have had their seasonal displays up for weeks now and the Black Friday countdown is ON. It’s a stressful time of the year, and honestly, it’s easy to stretch your bank account pretty thin. So, I wanted to put together a quick guide full of inexpensive holiday gifts for women. Every present here is under $50, so that leaves you more money to spend on family members, significant others… and maybe wine. I’m not judging.
Stocking stuffers:
Makeup. I’m not talking about anything super personal like foundation — or possibly offensive, like concealer — here. Things like this cute lip gloss set and this adorable eyeshadow palette are great gifts for close friends or female family members.
Clothing and accessories:
Scarves, hats, gloves, socks and slippers. I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many cozy knits! I’m definitely buying this scarf, these slippers and these socks to gift this year.
Jewelry. Obviously, we’re not talking about diamonds or pearls here. But fun pieces of jewelry — like this necklace and this minimalist ring set are great inexpensive holiday gifts for women.
Bags. You might not be able to gift your bestie an Hermes tote, but this reusable tote bag and this cute coin purse are almost as good!
Pajamas! Is any Christmas really complete without an adorable pajama set under the Christmas tree? There’s a reason holiday pajamas are a tradition to so many people. This adorable pair is definitely my pick for this year.
Books:
Since I work in a library, you knew this suggestion was coming! I like to check the New York Times Bestseller list every year for ideas.
I’ll be gifting this non-fiction book to my more serious girlfriends, and this juicy novel to my girly-girl friends.
Home accessories
Picture frames. These are one of the absolute best inexpensive Christmas gifts for women because there’s such a wide variety to choose from. I can’t wait to buy this frame for a friend, and surprise her with a photo of the two of us already inside it.
Blankets. ‘Tis the season for cozy throws! This throw is my favorite this year.
Anything from Anthropologie. Seriously — Anthro is my go-to whenever I hit a mental block and can’t think of a single gift idea. Almost anything from this store is stocking-worthy! These ornaments will last season after season, and these bowls are absolutely timeless.
Whew! Can you tell I’ve already started on my holiday shopping? I honestly know how stressful it is, so I really hope my suggestions for inexpensive holiday gifts for women are helpful. You can also check out my post on High-end Gifts for Ladies.
